What the two scores mean

Domain Rating, from Ahrefs, measures how strong your site's backlink profile is compared with every other site, from 0 to 100. It is about other sites linking to you, so it moves slowly and only with links from sites that already have authority.

They answer the two halves of being found. A site that scores well for AI search but has a Domain Rating near 0 is easy to read but rarely recommended, because few trusted sites point to it. A strong Domain Rating with a low AI score is the opposite: trusted, but hard for assistants to read.
