About WhisperWeb

WhisperWeb is a free transcription workspace that runs in your browser. It uses OpenAI's open-source Whisper speech model (tiny/base/small) directly on your device via WebGPU or WebAssembly, so recordings are not uploaded to a server. Drop in MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MOV or WebM (up to 200 MB / 20 minutes per file) or record from the mic, then fix words and timestamps before exporting TXT, SRT or VTT. No signup, no payment.
