## About Slack Green

Slack Green keeps your Slack status green during the hours you choose. It runs on our server with your own Slack session, so your laptop can sleep, lock or stay shut. Setup takes about two minutes with the Chrome extension. The lifetime plan also includes a CLI you can run on your own machine.

## Who is Slack Green for?

Slack shows you as away 10 minutes after your last input on desktop, and almost at once when your computer sleeps or locks. Mouse jigglers and keep-awake apps only help while your computer is on and Slack is open.

## How does Slack Green work?

Slack Green does the work from a server instead. It signs in with your own Slack session, the same one the Slack web app uses, and refreshes your presence on the schedule you set, such as 9am to 6pm on weekdays. Your laptop can sleep, lock or stay shut. You connect a workspace in about two minutes with the Chrome extension, or paste the two session tokens by hand.
