Memolio makes a hardcover book about one real person: a grandma, grandpa, nan or grandad, a mother or father. Their real memories and photos become a painted story in which they are the hero, read by the grandchildren who love them. It is the answer to what to give a grandparent who already has everything, a present for Opa's 80th, a Christmas gift for Nan that is not another mug, or a way to keep Mum's life story before the details are lost. How does Memolio work?

The family answers questions about the person on a web form, or the grandparent tells the stories themselves by simply talking. Only one photo is required, of the person the book is about; everyone else can be painted from a photo or simply described. The story is written from those answers and every page is painted in watercolour. The family reviews and approves every page online before anything prints.
