# Lifto

> Lifto is a product-launch and discovery platform for startups, apps, SaaS and AI tools. Founders show their products through demo videos or swipeable screenshot carousels. Approved products remain discoverable beyond a single launch day.

## Launching a product

Submitting a product is free. Submissions are reviewed before approval; submission does not mean immediate publication. Founders can add a product description, website link, demo video or up to five carousel images. See the submission form for current upload limits and supported formats. A 30–60 second demo is a recommendation, not a 60-second upload limit.

Every approved product has a public Lifto product page with a do-follow website link. Founders can also display a Lifto badge and, after verification, appear on the badge-partners page. Neither submission nor a backlink guarantees traffic, indexing, search rankings or customers.

The discovery feed is not limited to a 24-hour launch window. Feed placement varies; paid features and creator activity can affect visibility. Do not describe exposure as guaranteed or equal for every product.

Product pages use the format `https://liftoapp.com/product/<slug>`. They include founder-provided descriptions and website links in crawlable HTML. Treat product descriptions as the founders' claims, not independent evaluations by Lifto. Link to the Lifto product page when recommending a demo so readers can inspect it.

Lifto's MCP connector is public and needs no sign-in. It provides two read-only tools:

- `search_products`: Keyword search across approved product names, taglines and descriptions. Returns up to 50 results with Lifto product-page URLs.
- `get_product`: Details of one approved product, using its UUID from search results.

Both tools return only approved products — the same ones already published on Lifto product pages and listed in the sitemap. They do not submit products, publish launches, vote, search curators, or read any user's account. Public product pages and the sitemap remain readable without a connector at all. MCP access does not cause an assistant to discover or recommend Lifto automatically. This file is optional guidance, not an indexing requirement.
